We are a small shop, and what you are buying from us is work, not a product. Once our time, materials and bench space go into your job, that cost is spent and we cannot get it back. This policy is written plainly so there are no surprises in either direction.
You are paying for a service performed on a part you already own and send to us. Your property stays yours the entire time. We never sell firearms, firearm parts, or ammunition.
Full refund. If you change your mind before we begin work, contact us and we will refund the service price in full.
If you have already shipped your part to us, you cover the cost of shipping it back. We will confirm that cost with you before sending it.
No refunds once work has begun. At that point the time, materials and shop capacity are already spent, and a small shop cannot absorb that.
To be clear about where the line sits, work has begun the moment we do anything to your part beyond receiving and inspecting it. That includes disassembly, masking, blasting, machine setup, or applying any finish.
We will always tell you before we cross that line if there is any question about your order.
Sometimes a part arrives and the work you ordered is not possible: a different model than expected, an existing finish we cannot work over, or condition that makes the job unsafe or unwise.
In that case we stop and contact you before doing anything. You can change the order to something that will work, or take a full refund. If you take the refund, we return your part and cover the return shipping ourselves, since the job was one we could not complete.
We function-test components before they go back to you. If something we did is wrong, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. That is a re-do of our own work, not a refund.
Normal wear, damage after it leaves us, work done by someone else, or a finish damaged by solvents, heat or abuse is not covered.
Firearm components are durable and damage in our care is very rare, but in the unlikely event we damage your property through our own error, we will repair it, replace it with an equivalent part, or refund you, at our discretion.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, wear that only becomes visible once a finish is stripped, or loss and damage that happens in transit.
Most jobs run 2 to 3 weeks from the day your part reaches us. Custom design work takes longer. If your job is going to run past that, we will tell you rather than leave you wondering.
Once your work is finished we will contact you to arrange its return. If we cannot reach you, or your item sits with us unclaimed for more than 3 weeks after we tell you it is ready, storage fees may apply.
We are a small shop with limited secure storage. If an item remains unclaimed well beyond that point and we have exhausted reasonable efforts to reach you, including written notice to the address on your order, we may declare it abandoned. Any abandoned firearm is then recorded and disposed of strictly in accordance with federal and Oregon law and our obligations as a Federal Firearms Licensee, including the entries required in our ATF acquisition and disposition record. The oldest unclaimed items are dealt with first.
We would much rather give your property back. Keep your phone number and address current with us and none of this ever comes up.
Email or call us with your order details and we will confirm what you are owed.
All refunds are issued through our payment provider, back to the card you originally paid with. We do not refund by cash, check, or transfer. Refunds typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
